- Timberlake farm stall & organic food consists of a number of quaint retail food cabins, a coffee shop, a main restaurant, an organic herb and vegetable garden, a gazebo with spit-braai, a large barn with function facilities, and a weekend market area with a retail side to it.
- Timberlake, with its unique village atmosphere, uses food craft specialists to present the best in local produce and food products. Each cabin has a specialist whose mission is to promote organics and source ingredients from local producers. Timberlake forms a decentralized, sustainable food hub that aspires to stocking the best of local foods and the on-site production of world-class products.
- Sugar and Spice is a small bakery specializing in confectionery for those with a sweet tooth. Chocolates and other delicacies share the shelves with homemade rusks, pasta and fresh farm bread.
- Cheese Head stocks the best in local South African cheeses, with over 100 local cheeses on offer. It is a place for serious cheese lovers to sample something new. Oak Barrel is manned by a passionate olive farming family.
- From chili olives to the hard to find Org de Rac organic wines there are plenty of tasting experiences on offer. Coffee Roastery presents you with a fantastic choice of organic coffees, including some interesting African beans, the perfect place to recharge. Choose a healthy light lunch and organic salad or a slice of decadent chocolate cake to go with your steaming hot organic coffee.
- Health Store is where you get all you dry organic goods and healthy living products. From water purifiers, and supplements to organic skin care products and pre-order organic vegetables, you will find it here. We care for the environment and stock enviro-friendly cleaning products.
- Organic Vegetable and Herb Garden nurtures the naturally grown produce that is sold to the public and utilized by the Timberlake coffee shop and restaurant. The Coffee Roastery serves its customers in a quiet setting overlooking the herbs and vegetables. Zucchini is the restaurant in the main building.
- Zucchini utilizes the organic produce of the food specialists to create simple healthy country food. The restaurant focuses on honest flavors rather than overworking ingredients. It has a 360° fireplace and a wonderful deck overlooking the specialist cabins. Holy Cow is a cooperative of local artists and crafters.
- This colorful and multi-dimensional shop adjoining the Barn offers feel-good clothing, one-of-a-kind décor, beaded art, and wearable craft. Nature walks to the top of the property let people stretch their legs and rewards you with a magnificent view over the lakes.
- The northern ridge overlooks Bo-langvlei and Rondevlei, neighbouring the SANParks lake reserves. Klein Kranz Community project, which Timberlake supports. The project has a small retail outlet, which produces and sells wooden toys for children and arranges tours to the community crèche, including a traditional African lunch. Faery Gem cabin introduces you to the wonderful world of fairies, crystals, gemstones and jewelry. Kids can start exploring in a scratch patch full of semi-precious stones and from here you will be directed to the Fantasy Forest walk where the family is likely to meet elves and fairies, and all sorts of interesting creatures.
- The Barn is a functions venue where interesting talks, demos and lectures are taking place. It has hosted the launch of new products and projects such as Earthchild George. Come join us for a live drawing class or a cooking demonstration! Indigenous Nursery surrounds the dam and is integrated with the development of the property to bringing about the re-establishment of our indigenous forest. The rehabilitation of the land is a long-term project that is already bearing fruit.
- The clearing of wattle from southern slopes has allowed indigenous trees such as candlewood and yellowwood to flourish. Weekend Market is to be launched shortly and provides an opportunity for more local producers to present their products. The market is complemented with a spit-braai that will provide a unique country eating experience. The Timberlake Market is sure to add color and activity and promote a sense of community in the area.
